GENERAL

  • Why is an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number important and how do I retrieve the IMEI number from my mobile?
    The IMEI number is a 15 digit unique code that is used to identify a mobile phone to a GSM network. The IMEI number can be retrieved by keying in *#06# and the 15 digit unique code will be displayed on the screen. In the unfortunate event that your mobile is misplaced, provision of this IMEI number to the police and telecom service provider would be useful.
  • What is the default phone lock password ?
    The default password is 1234.
    If your phone still requests a security code, please bring it to the nearest Beetel Mobile Authorized Service Centre (ASC) for inspection.
  • How do you get a good battery back-up ?
    1. By charging the battery up to 8 hrs for the first time and subsequently 2 hrs.
    2. Charging the battery only after complete discharge of battery.
    3. Should not remove the battery more often.
    Tip on the Battery: When you first time unpack a phone, the battery is not fully charged. It takes three charging-discharging cycles for the battery to reach its peak performance. So for the better performance of battery it is recommended that you fully Charge and Discharge battery at least three times.

  • How do synchronize contacts from Beetel mobiles?
    To synchronize data from your phone with compatible PC software, use Beetel Phone PC Suite. Beetel PC Suite is free PC software that allows you to store, edit, and synchronize phone data with a Windows-based PC. To download the correct version of PC Suite for your phone model download it from Beetel website.
  • What is Motion Sensor?
    Motion sensor feature allows you to change the wallpaper of your mobile screen/change the song you are listening to /or play motion games.
  • What is the function of UV Light/Currency Checker and which Beetel mobiles support it?
    Press key 5 for ON and OFF the UV Light and Currency Checker. Currency checker allows you to check the authenticity of currency notes.

  • What is Power Save Mode in Profiles?
    If power saver profile is active Some of Multi-Media function like FM radio, audio player, video player, video recorder, sound recorder, camera, Bluetooth will not work in-order to save power, one pop-up message will come indicating the user.
  • My phone is requesting a PIN/PIN2/PUK/PUK2 code?
    Your phone is equipped with one or more codes to protect it against unauthorized use. The PIN and PUK codes actually protect the SIM card, a small card inside your phone that establishes the network connection.
    In most cases, your operator or service provider is the best source of assistance with PIN and PUK codes.
    » The most common code is the PIN (Personal Identification Number) code, which you set yourself and can activate and inactivate by following the instructions in your user manual

    » The PIN2 code is a PIN code which acts as a second layer of protection for certain features of your phone. It functions in the same way as the PIN code, and more information is available in your user manual

    » If the PIN code is entered incorrectly multiple times, your phone may request a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code. The PUK code is an 8-digit code provided by your operator or service provider.

    » If the PIN2 code is entered incorrectly multiple times, your phone may request a PUK2 code.
    Please contact your operator or service provider for assistance with your PIN and/or PUK codes. If you have already contacted your service provider and the code provided did not work, you will have to obtain a new SIM card from your operator or service provider.
  • What is Shuffle Ringtones ?

  • What is Black List ?
    When this Black list is enabled, you won»t receive the calls from the numbers entered in the Blacklist.
  • What is White List ?
    When this white list is enabled, you can only receive the calls from the numbers entered in the white list..
  • I lost my phone. How do I block the phone to prevent unauthorized use?
    Beetel does not have a system to block the phone. However if you were to provide us the phone's IMEI number, we can alert the Beetel Authorized Service Centers (ASC) about the lost phone. You are also advised to make a police report.
  • My phone is requesting a security code?
    Your phone is equipped with one or more codes to protect it against unauthorized use. Please note that the security code, which protects the phone itself, differs from the PIN code, which protects the SIM card.
    » Enter the default security code: 1234. Only try this once.
    If your phone still requests a security code, please bring it to the nearest Beetel Mobile Authorized Service Centre (ASC) for inspection.
  • How can I use my Beetel Mobile Bluetooth?
    If your Beetel phone supports Bluetooth wireless connections, you can usually activate Bluetooth from the menu titled Organizer, Connections, or Connectivity:
    » Bluetooth active - Select Yes to enable Bluetooth.

    » My telephone's visibility - Select Shown to all if you want your device to be found by other Bluetooth devices. If you select Hidden, your device cannot be found by other devices.
